Types of Sudarshan Chakra Shaligram
Fixed Type
In this variety, the Sudarshan Chakra can be seen through a natural opening or hole in the Shaligram. The stone remains intact and does not separate, making it suitable for traditional worship and safe long-term placement.
Openable Type
In this variety, the Shaligram naturally opens into two parts. The Sudarshan Chakra is visible on both inner sides when opened. This type is rare and is worshipped carefully, keeping both parts together during puja.
Both types are completely natural and untreated. Naming such as Rama Avatara, Krishna Avatara, or other forms is based on belief, while technically all are sacred Shaligram stones.
